Dr Winnie Lark works across all areas of general medicine and has special interest in paediatrics and women’s health. She diagnoses and treats a broad range of health concerns, educates patients and involves them in decision making, and is an advocate for preventative medicine.
Dr Lark achieved a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) in 2017, and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022.
Her training and work experience includes time working in emergency, rural medicine, urology, palliative care, paediatrics, mental health and general medicine in Proserpine, Mackay, and Redlands hospitals, and in private practice.
An interest in science led Dr Lark into her medical career. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and considers it an honour to be part of their lives, supporting them through the challenges and celebrating the happier moments.
She finds it especially rewarding to see babies from birth grow and develop, and she takes pride in ensuring every visit to the doctor is a good experience for all children.
