What is MyMedicare?

MyMedicare is a voluntary registration program designed to improve your healthcare experience by strengthening your connection with your GP. It’s an Australian Government initiative.

Why register?

By signing up and nominating our clinic as your main practice, you help us offer you more personalised and continuous care, especially for managing ongoing health needs. While registration is optional, doing so helps us to deliver the highest standard of medical services.

Some things to consider

  • Registration is voluntary and can be changed or withdrawn anytime.
  • You can still visit other clinics or access services across Australia.
  • Our clinic does not receive a financial incentive when you register.

What are the benefits?

  • Access to longer bulk-billed telehealth consults (phone consults over 20 minutes).
  • Enhanced funding for aged care services and patients with frequent hospital visits.
  • Continued and improved funding for chronic disease care and other vital services.
  • Future services may be linked to MyMedicare registration.

How to register

The easiest way to register is at our practice—complete a short form, and we’ll handle the rest.

Or you can register via:

  • Your MyGov account (ask our staff for help if you need it).
  • The Express Plus Medicare Mobile App (our staff can help you with this, too).

Should I register now?

Though voluntary, MyMedicare will influence current and future GP programs. By registering now, you help us ensure we can continue offering and expanding our health services to better meet your needs.

Through continuing medical education, our independent doctors provide advanced care in a traditional environment.

When was your last check-up?

With modern, busy lifestyles, it’s easy to neglect your health as you try to put everyone else’s needs first. Our caring practice gives you access to experienced independent doctors and health professionals to care for you and your entire family. Regular visits to the doctor will depend on your age and general health, but they are important to make sure any health issues don’t go undiscovered.
